About Aretha Johnson
Inspiring, energetic, and goal-oriented, Aretha Castillo Johnson is a public speaker and customer experience & employee engagement strategist. Her mission is to apply her expertise in motivating and encouraging others to develop strong women and girls, empowered by their innate inner strength, worth, and purpose in life.
In her own life, Aretha once knew the struggle of building and maintaining self-confidence. After overcoming those feelings and thoughts, she knew that she had to help other women and young women get past their own feelings of being “not enough.” Through her calling as a mother to two daughters, testimony as an entrepreneur, work as a Secretary Board member of Union County YWCA, and her service on church ministries dedicated to supporting women and youth, Aretha has made good on her goal to help empower females of all ages and help them find the strength and self-love needed to embrace their voice… and reduce the awful statistics of females being impacted by violence, substance abuse, and suicide.
The modern female can read books, participate in support groups, or attend counseling to better their lives– but Aretha seeks to give females tangible strategies to stay connected with themselves and monitor their growth for life-long success, from the inside out. Aretha is a retired Corp Marketing executive, with an extensive amount of leadership experience and training. Additionally, Aretha was trained to facilitate Girls “Power ColLABorative” Leadership curriculum and Landmark Forum program which are bonuses when engaging with young girls and women.
