CLUE Tool Box: Elevating Her
• You have a segment of young women that need help, support and the necessary tools to for
them to feel empowered, confident and self-love. These young women are coming from
diverse backgrounds and their personal challenges vary. Your resources are limited or maybe
inconsistent. However your results drives future funding and support.
• Great solutions but not as effective.
• Young women can read self help books, like 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers by
Convey – awesome book but there’s isn’t someone helping them identify & implement a
strategy based on what they read.
• Connecting with a mentor is great, but their connections and meets up aren’t frequent
enough for these young women to gain necessary tools needed to elevate themselves
• Lastly, Group sessions are tough because some things are personal and not everyone
feels comfortable sharing or groups are too big and time runs out or one or two people
may dominate the discussion.
• I’m a retired executive who’s established and cultivated relationships over 26 years of working in corp

How can I help
I learned that I was CHOSEN, for a purpose, LOVED in spite of my imperfections and
UNIQUE only I could contribute what I have. Once I was CHOSEN, LOVED and UNIQUE I
became ELEVATED. Over the course of 8 weeks I want to ELEVATE your young women. They
will learn actionable steps as they go through the 8 Modules:

Daily self motivation they do themselves. In the morning
being gratiful to see another day and determine what kind of
day will it be and WHY set a goal / objective for each day.
They may say today I want to get through a full day of school
without crying..that may be huge for them. How can they do
that being mindful and intentional – identify their triggers
Actionable Step
I teach them value of being unique, different
through self – discover activites.
● Self-kindness
● Nice to yourself
● Encouge yourself
● Show yourself compassionn
Mindfulness – naming how you feel in the present,
not consumed with the past or future. Don’t deny
your presnt BUT don’t blow it out of proportion
Have them speak from an “I’m perspective rather
than “I want” or “I will”
